| I HAVE PLAYED THE TRUMPET FOR 60 YEARS PROFESSIONALLY, THOUGH NOW RETIRED I PLAY LOCALLY-MOSTLY CLASSICAL, BUT JAZZ ALSO. MY DOUBLE IS----READY? FOR 40 YEARS I HAVE PLAYED THE FLUTE AND TRUMPET. THE TRUMPET ACTUCALLY ENHANCES THE FLUTE EMBROCHURE, THE FLUTE PLAYING HAS NO EFFECT ON THE TRUMPET. THE DIFFERENCE IN BREATH CONTROL AND BREATHING HELPS ME---WHAT MORE CAN ONE ASK? |

| Vaughn,
My wife and I enjoyed your performance at the spring concert in Mount Carmel. I was in the "Mounties" when you were the soloist.I recently had some of the old albums converted to cd format. I often listen to them because in high school I was so proud to be a part of the band and all their accomplishments.
I purchased your "Panorama" cd at the concert and it is unbelievable how far you have progressed in your musical career, and I thought you were incredible in high school.Best of luck in the future.
Sincerely,
Tom Ditchey |

| I am employed by Fine Music Radio 101.3, a jazz and classic radio station in Cape Town, South Africa. We are always in search of new jazz, thus I spend hours searching the net for artists FMR can introduce to its audience. We recieve albums throughout the year from international labels like EMI and Sony. This we believe is not enough as in SA, independent producing is flourishing thus I would like to request if you could sample FMR 101.3 with a selections of your albums. | Hello Vaughn,My comment on your new CD "PANORAMA" is Bravo, Bravo Magnifico...OLE.You play the trumpet like you invented it. PANORAMA IS A WINNER.Your concert at Williams Valley HS on March 26th at Reinerton/Tower City PA hometown of the late Les Brown and his band of renown was awesome. I know Les was smilling in heaven when he heard that concert in his hometown. My compliments to the Williams Valley HS music department, I hope they bring you back next year.It was an honor to meet the members of your band, they are all excellent musicians.I enjoyed chating with your mother & father during the luncheon that was held after the concert. GREAT FOOD & MUSIC it was a great day.Sincerely,Joe MistiMinersville, PA - Capital of the COAL REGION of PAps Tony Karpee and Danny Wowack send their best wishes. |

| My comments are few, Mr. Nark. You are definitely a very talented individual. That is why I am a proud owner of your CDs. My only problem lately is that I recently ordered your newest recording (Panorama, which I received promptly) along with Flying High, which I have yet to receive. They were both ordered on 4-13-04 from your site (invoice #2652). If this info happens to get to the correct person, I want him/her to know that I really would like to get that Flying High CD. But back to the kudos......I really enjoy your playing. If my copy of Somethin' Special had been an LP, I would have worn it out by now. Thank You, and don't stop playing!! Nathan |

| Hi Vaughn, Greetings from Joe Misti in Minersville, PA the capital of the Pennsylvania coal region. I read all the great letters on you website from your fans. They Know you are the worlds greatest trumpet player just like I do. I heard some of Sandaval's CD "Tribute". It good but it is NOT in the same league as your CD "Someting Special". Vaughn, your CD is the greatest thing thing I have ever heard. In my 72 years on this earth. I've been playing trumpet since 1947 and I heard them all, and You Are The Best. I spoke to your dad on the phone, he told me the new CD will soon be out. Taht's great news. Looking forward to hearing you in person again real soon. When will you be in PA? Kindest regards Joe Misti. |
